The 2011 Chargers are great looking cars.  One of the subtle modifications you can make to enhance the appearance of your Mopar is to add on a Chin Spoiler.  This article, courtesey of Dave (4gtwrk) will walk you through the necessary steps to complete the upgrade.

Car: 2011 Toxic Orange Dodge Charger R/T

Part: 2011 Charger Chin Spoiler, PN 82212340

Tools: Tape, Sharipie, Tape Measure/Ruler, Drill, 1/4" Spur Drill Bit, Hand Rivet Gun (due to low clearance)

Install Time: 1 Hour

Difficulty: 2 Stars, just exercise caution!

Many thanks to Dave for the great write-up and pictures.  Should be a big help to Charger owners looking into tackling this modification.

I added a chin spolier to Kathy's Charger today and thought I'd take a few pictures during the process to help anyone else that wants to do it someday.

I purchased part #82212340, spoiler for a 2011 Charger.

Here's the front of the car stock.

Tools needed; Drill, 1/4" drill bit,masking tape, Sharpie pen, ruler, Pop rivet gun

The drill bit I used was a spur bit used for wood work to prevent splintering and it work great for drilling plastic panels.

The center hole in the spolier is not slotted like the other 10 so I marked it first. There are clips on the spoiler that you use as a gauge to set the placement of the edge since it does not fit flush with the front cowl.

Once you have your first mark after you have measured twice, it's time to drill a hole in your car...

Then it's just a matter of installing a rivet and moving on to the next hole, each time before you drill make sure the spoiler is at the proper height.

Here's the finished project;

This will no doubt be of help to any late model Charger enthusiasts.  As you can see, the spoiler is a great add-on to your Charger.  Thanks again to Dave, (4gtwrk on AAM and LSM) for the great write-up originally seen on AAM (http://www.amarilloareamopars.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2603).
