Mopar 10 Registry

Well, I have wanted to set this up for quite some time...

I feel like I have finally had enough experience with the online forms to create a good set up to ease the documentation of the M10s...

I would like it to be easy enough that even those who don't exactly do "forums" etc., would be encouraged to take a few minutes and submit their info.

That brings up the question of what information...

So, what information would you like to see collected? This would be as comprehensive as we want...

Feel free to post up what you would like to see on the form...This will basically be sent to a spreadsheet I can view and sort by Car # to hopefully account for everything...I can then easily cut out the info we would want shared "ie #, stripe, transmission" etc and keep back private info like email etc...

Let me know what you want and I'll see what I can do...

Looks good to me. With column filters you would be able to find things like the closest stripe colors to call and set up that $ shot.

I'll keep pushing this and fishing for input...due to past issues, once I have made the form, I will likely not be tweaking it (see also a previous test run where I added a question deleted all the current inputs).

Something I just thought of is adding the VIN #. Again, this would all be private.

Where I see a use for this is not now, but say in 20 years...This would really be our only defense against clones etc.

What if someone wanted a Mopar 10 and they bought one with the seller claiming they didn't have the Owner's Kit or any other stuff etc..It is easy to obtain most of the special parts and if someone got a guy to crank out a stripe and fake dash plaque, how would you really know past the VIN?

Let me know your take on this potential addition.

Can you write a script kind of like the credit cards do, so you can list your vin for the record but only "2B3CJ5DT3AH******", omitting the S/N on display?

In all honesty, I would probably keep the VINs totally private.

Only real info I'd make public is Car #, Stripe, Transmission. Possibly a few other details, but nothing personal like name and e-mail etc. I've debated states or regions, and then if someone sees 2 M10s in Colorado, they can sign up and PM the users etc to set up a GTG.
