Welcome aboard...we've got about 4" and counting right now here in Texas, lol.
I posted instructions on how to do pretty much anything anyone would want to do here, and made them basic enough that it should walk you right thru the process. If not, just let us know what part you are having trouble with and we'll be glad to help you out.
Navigating the site should be pretty easy, you'll have it down after a few visits to the site. I assure you, it is easier to navigate this site than the other late model Mopar sites with 40 ads and unrelated links scattered across the page.
If you want an abridged version for the pics, simply upload a pic to Photobucket, copy the IMG CODE, and paste it here. It works the same on pretty much any site.Here is how to post pictures:
1. Please post from a hosted image account (Photobucket, Webshots, Flickr, Picasa) etc. They are free to create and allow you a lot of options.
2. The best size for pictures is 640x480 pixels. Some of us have large monitors that can handle more, but not everyone does...that said, if you post a 640x480 it will fit virtually any monitor and not require side scrolling which takes away from the viewing experience. For those with large monitors you'll just see a nice pic with space on both sides.
1. Browse to the photo host of your choice (ie
http://www.photobucket.com)
2. Find the "Sign Up" button and click it.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions. All you really need is a username, email, password, and the ability to read a captcha.
4. Once your account is created make an album (ie "My Mods" or "Cold Air Intake") and select upload.
5. In the options you can select to resize all the pics that are uploaded automatically, in our case 640x480.
6. Click "Upload."
7. Sit back, relax, and wait.
8. You can now edit your pics (ie add a sig name), add titles or descriptions, and sort into sub folders (ie My Mods>Engine>Heads>Flow Number Chart).
Now that you have created your photo-hosting account and upload pics all you have to do is get them to the thread on the Mopar 10 Forum where you want to post.
1. Browse your account to the ablum or sub-album that contains the pictures you want to post.
2. Click in the "IMG CODE" box. This automatically copies the IMG CODE for you.
3. Have the topic or thread you wish to post open in another Window or Tab.
4. Click "CTRL+V" or "Paste" from your right-click menu and you will see the IMG CODE you just copied.
5. Hit "Preview" beside "Submit" below your post and take a quick look at your pictures.
6. If you have duplicates or the wrong pictures simply adjust on the fly.
7. Once everything is how you want it simply hit "Submit."
8. Congrats, you have now shared pictures with everyone here at the Mopar 10 Forum!
