Mopar 10 Registry

Alright, I'm at a stand still in a stereo upgarde due to the plug/seal you see here:




Does anyone know how to remove it?

I can only pry the rear side loose...I have no access to the front (no door jamb opening like old Mopars).
On the inside you pull the rocker, pull the kick panel, pop a few plastic pins, have a thick rubber sheet with cross hairs cut for the door harness, and then find that white plug in place with the harness seemingly hitting a bulkhead. I can't get any access to see what to do or make anything happen.

Any help would be appreciated. This should be the easy part of the install...not the most difficult, lol.

I got it...finally. Now that I know what to do this could take 45 seconds on the driver's side or another 10 minutes.

You basically have to "push-in" 4 clips on the corners of the rectangular portion. The issue is you have to do it roughly simultaneously, which is a total pain with the tight confines. If you break just the side facing you (rear quarter panel side, not front fender side) you will never get the back side out until you re-seat it and try to get it at the same time. Same goes for the front end of it...if you break it loose thinking it was the hold-up, you'll have to time the release just right or the side facing you will be just as big of a pain...

It is really simple in concept, just very difficult to execute. I hope that makes sense, if anyone gets to this point I think you can read that, know what I mean, and hopefully save a lot of time and frustration!
