Well, I just checked everything and I've got some parts that should be in today...I need the time to get them sorted out and map everything out, but I hope to have a nice write up (provided it is possible)...This might turn into an involved multifaceted project  I'll post progress as it happens... |

Well this is full force ahead...trying to get it done in time for a few shows. I'd say I'm about 50% done at this point...Keep having to chase parts and getting frustrated at how a town of 100k doesn't have 18 gauge quick splices or simple connectors  This is going to turn out to be pretty cool though...I basically get off work and hit the shop on the days I can and work till about 11:30-11:45 PM I am dubbing this one the "Cloud 10 Project." Stay tuned for details

Thanks...I'd say I'm 60% complete at this point...I can't wait to see the finished product either, lol. I'll debut it this coming weekend, but will post it here first! |

A little after midnight I wrapped this up, at least "Phase 2" of Cloud 10 that is...and I'm happy with the results. That said, I did blow a fuse testing some soldered connections. No biggie, went for the Owner's Manual and came up empty...checked online and came up empty. Unbelievable! I will tell you right now, the fuse for the Challenger's trunk light is #38 a red 10 AMP Fuse found in the rear distribution block right by the battery. The other unbelievable revelation was that this same fuse also controls your power door and trunk release! I have no clue why a trunk light would be on the same circuit, but it now makes sense as to why the trunk always stays lit and doesn't go out like your other interior lights. Replacing the fuse got the trunk light back AND the functions of the key fob. |
