There is an all Mopar show coming up later this month in Norman, Oklahoma. It is largely late model, although a few muscle era Mopars do come in as well.
Is anyone in the area? If not, is anyone planning to attend? It looks like I will be headed that way in the M10...
The show is at night to offset the heat and the other big draw, at least for me, is the drag racing Friday night. The M10 is pretty much stock performance wise, but Noble is a great track and I should pull of much better times than over here...not quite sea level, but a step in the right direction...this would be a perk for anyone with air or elevation issues that always has to watch the guys in FL or NJ brag about how much faster their car is etc.
Show should be unique as well given the PM setting.
As always, I would like to see as many M10s out as possible...I figure there should be a few in the area, although my sources have never relayed me any contact info etc.
Here is the latest info on the event:
Thursday: Welcome everyone to the hotel, hang out grab some dinner and a few cold drinks
Friday: Cruise to OKC for some shopping and sight seeing, drag racing that night, best reaction time gets $100 cash!
Saturday: Photos, lunch and clean up those cars, Car show from 5pm-10pm at Riverwind Casino
Hotel is Sooner Legends Inn & Suites, same as last year (There is a national motocross event in town the same weekend so all hotels are booked full, we have 24 left in our block so if you want one you better call them quick, any not reserved bu July 1st will be released to the public)
