SRT Track experience is coming to Texas motorspeedway 10/6-10/9 for anyone interested. I'm doing it cause it supposedly I get one time free for me cause I bought the srt8. Can't beat free.

As a point of clarification, all SRT vehicles, with the exception of the Viper, will be included in the driving modules at each track event. During the final session of the event day (Hot Laps), the professional drivers will be giving rides in select SRT vehicles and, depending on availability, you may receive a Viper ride during this time.

Registration Fee: $500.00;  Driving Guest - $500.00;  Non-Driving Guest - $100.00 (spectator).
Important Note:  All driving and non-driving attendees MUST preregister.

If you are an SRT owner whose vehicle was built AFTER April 1, 2005, you will not be required to enter credit card information for yourself. This offer is good for one year from the date of purchase. The Track Experience cost is included in the cost of your car (U.S. spec vehicles only). This offer is good for one owner per VIN and lease vehicles are included in this offer. However, if you are registering either a driving or non-driving guest, credit card information will be required for their registrations.
If you are an SRT owner whose vehicle was built BEFORE April 1, 2005, you will be required to enter credit card information for yourself and any guests you register.

Man that would be cool...too bad they didn't package that up for the Mopar 10

Price is a little high for non-owners, but I'm sure it is money well spent. That would make a great write up for LSM News...I'll have to check the schedule, seems like Goodguys is usually around that time frame as well.

Yea it's a bit pricey but it might be worth it.

Also Texas motorspeedway does a drag and brag race every so often.
They also do laps for charity events


Btw this is short notice but north star raceway is holding a kind of run what you bring race the ricekiller.com guys are going to be there so there should be a lot of nice cars there.

The SRT Experience is an absoulte blast. You get to flog the crap out of someone else's car lol. You can find vouchers on sale on different forums for anywhere between 2-300 usually and I would pay to do it again. Next time I go i want my wife to do the driving part and I will pay the $100 to be a ride along. You get to ride with the instructors all day and those guys can drive the heck out of the cars, pushing them beyond the limit.

I work on the pipeline if I'm in town I'm deffiantly goin to it
