Happy Texas Independence Day!

I have never understood why no one really makes a big deal about this date...If you don't continue to remember history, it will all be forgotten. I do my best to at least make others aware of the date. Imo, it should be a State Holiday on the closest weekday. At least then it might get mentioned more.
