What is needed to modernize my Cordoba with a Hemi? I am wanting to know how to adapt hemi motor mounts to my factory k frame and what do I need to make this a successful swap all the way around. Will my 8 1/4 need to be changed to a larger rear? I am so tired of having break downs because of the age,bad mileage of my car. |

I've not heard of anyone doing a swap into a Cordoba yet, but it would be pretty bad ass and very unexpected. You could idle up on people with a stock exhaust and they'd prob thin you had a worn 318 or Slant Six etc...Then you could blow their doors off ![]() Here is a link to a well known place: http://www.newhemiswap.com/ 70Challenger on here has done a swap into his Challenger. I'm not a big Cordoba expert, but if you could source a tubular k-member it might alleviate the need for modifying the old and new parts together... |

BTW Thanks for the link I wished he had a forum. Looks like I can use my k frame since it is the same as 73-74 Charger. Looks like I need to sell parts and change directions. ![]() |

Yep, that will work...There are prob a few ple that would make one from the ground up, but that would get very expensive. You'd want it to be from someone reputable since it would be for street driving etc. |

I had been looking at new hemi crate engines and they are way out of my price range. So i have decided to save as much as I can and buy me a used Ex- Police Charger as a donor. Do for now it's getting the 318 back up and running while gathering parts or dropping my 360 in. Baby steps for this old man lol. |

Nah, if you line it up and do your research it would be killer. Although, you can never go wrong with a 440 ![]() |
