Well, I had fully prepared to thank everyone for trying to help Destiny take home the title...
As is, I have to instead thank you for helping her actually take home the title!
I'm still a bit surprised, but pretty happy. I got an e-mail around 3 PM saying I had won, but didn't tell anyone out of fear it was sent to the wrong entrant etc...I checked Twitter and saw no news, then Facebook and it was still set to the "final reminder to vote." I left on an errand to the post office and while pulling out of the parking lot got a call from my Sister that the Mopar Facebook page had updated with a few shots of the M10
I can't tell you how much this means to me...It is a true honor and very humbling. I don't know how many people read the stories, but I know most everyone looks at the pics. With that said, I think a lot of the credit has to go to the car itself. I have employed the M10 as a daily driver since I picked it up and I could not be happier. What I've done to the car were simple, custom touches to enhance the performance or aesthetics, and I made sure to keep everything in line to "return to stock" if it was ever desired. This is a really cool deal and I am proud to be able to say LSM can stake claim to such an honor.
I am not big on Facebook and because of that I didn't think I had a very good chance of winning a popular vote. That said, I like to go down giving anything my best shot. I think the car really shined in this case. I can't thank any of you that voted for Destiny or shared the link with your friends. Every little bit helps, especially when you are like myself and not really a big Facebook person.
It has been over 12 hours now and I am still surprised, humbled, and excited. More than anything I'm wanting to get to work on the Charger...I've got a lot planned there!
But again, I'm not sure how Destiny pulled this off and I can't thank everyone that helped make it happen enough...Thank you!! Mopar or No Car!!
