While staying at the Hampton Inn in El Paso, went out to my 2006 Daytona Charger this morning and found it broken into. Nothing was stolen as the alarm scared them off. Must have scared off the Police too as I called 3 times and they never came after 2 1/2 hrs. Had to leave for work as I was already late and haven't heard anything else. This was all after going over to a car show at Hudson Grill had the car out on display for everyone to see. Seems like someone followed me back to the Hotel, guess you can't show off nice rides without having them locked away when done. Don't bring your Nice car to this place.

Man, sorry to see that...That is inexcusable on the part of the police.

Does the hotel have security cameras on the lot? I'm disappointed at the number of places that run Harbor Freight dummy cams that don't even record anything...granted, most places that do this don't buy from HF, they buy the same thing for 20x the cost...which taps right into that brilliance tree.

I would imagine someone saw something they wanted and you'd have likely had parts crossing the border. Glad the alarm got them scared off...
