I love the pre-cursor about "not advertising."
That notion that you should have to preemptively censor you own post when you are doing something as harmless as trying to help members find a good deal is BS, and is one of the primary reasons this site exists. You have that embedded in your mind because of the MONEY DRIVEN ANTICS of a forum that could really care less about the end-user.
I suffered thru the same bs and after getting a post with GROUP RATE HOTEL DISCOUNTS deleted and subsequent e-mails from moderators I was put out...gave the opportunity for a third strike and it came within two more posts on that particular site.
I'm not a good person to piss off, and this site is testament to that. I will give 100% of my time and effort to fighting wrongs and injustices as I deem it a noble pursuit.
I just want to make this clear to everyone in case you missed it or are having trouble adjusting to your new FREEDOM...
You can post whatever you want on Lone Star Mopars! I don't care if you are selling parts, cars, posting parts for a friend, or trying to find a home for kittens...the sole purpose of a forum is to assist members in sharing information. I will not prevent people from mentioning their clubs, their car shows, or their charities...that is why we are here...and this is ultimately why so many of us are dedicated to this site...No drama, no bs, just Mopar people enjoying what we do!
Don't be fooled by this simplistic approach...it works and you will enjoy it.
The idea is that your posting about finding that Chally helps a guy or gal land the car...they are thankful for the info getting passed, learn it was sourced somewhere (here for example), and they register, post-up, and help someone else out.
That's why this is the true Mopar Rebellion...and we don't run a network of affiliate sites for brand-x cars...Mopar is all we do and we do it right! You don't find this sentiment on a conglomerate site that is after ad-revenue and policing your thoughts!!
So spread the word, there is a new forum in town
