Hey Everyone,
Things have been a bit slow across the board on all Mopar sites...likely due to the holidays, shorter days, and colder weather.
To combat that Lone Star Mopars (LSM) is going to hold a Membership Drive!
We currently have 87 Members (as of December 7th, 2011). Let's see if we can clip the 100 mark before the year's end!
If you are on the board, tell a friend and make sure that they cite you when they sign up, or you chime in welcoming them and thanking them for taking you up on your inivite.
I will finally send out the first LSM Newsletter and see if we can't get a few registered members back to posting. Remember, this site is what we make of it. It can be the best and most active, or just another forum.
What sets Lone Star Mopars apart is the environment. There is no excessive moderation, you will never be asked to pay to remove ads, or pay to have a "badge" in your profile...Similarly you can post links to your club, your show, your blog, your personal site, and your own YouTube videos! That's right, LSM wants you to share your pics, videos, and stories! Similarly, unlike other forums we will never stake claim to your multimedia (read the fine print on your other forum to get a grasp on this)...
And lastly, we are die-hard Mopar. I run this forum, Amarillo Area Mopars, and the Mopar 10 Registry. We don't have links below for a corvette, camaro, trans-am, mustang, 370z, f150, silverado, or any of that other crap anywhere on this site because we don't like brand-x cars! Likewise, no vendors pay money to post here...all they have to do is offer LSM members a discount...that is worth it to us to allow them to post.
LSM is very different...we are ALL MOPAR and we respect YOU, the INDIVIDUAL POSTER! It is YOUR CONTENT that makes a forum great, NOT over zealous moderators, profile badges, or paying money to belong.
