Lone Star Mopars

This is the first year for this event so please help us make it a success. If you are tired of all the big events being on either the west or east coast, then this event is for you. We have a great weekend planned including: Car Show, Banquet, Photo Shoot, Cruise, Drag Racing, and a few other options if you have any spare time. This is a family event but will also have plenty of Adult activities also.

Car Show INFO:
We have secured the place to hold the car show during the Midwest Meet!!! The Car Show will be held at Riverwind Casino (http://www.Riverwind.com) in Norman OK. The casino is about 2 miles from the hotel and has plenty of parking for the show. The show will be from 10-2 with trophies being handed out @ 2pm. The cost of the show is $20 if you register before July 20th, after that the registration will be $25.
Also, the first 25 cars to pay their registration will receive 5 tickets for the 50/50 raffle we will be holding at the show.

If there is not a car registered for a category, the category will be deleted, there will be a 1st and 2nd place trophy for all categories with more that 5 vehicles registered.

Landon thanks for the post. I will make this show to show support of the Texas panhandle mopars and several people will also. Sounds like a great. Guys this will be a great event for the Mopars, so lets share the love to our Oklahoma friends.See you in Norman.

32 vehicles are registered!!! 14 have paid for their show entries. The first 25 get 5 free tickets for the 50/50 drawing!! So if you are coming and want some chance to win you might want to register and pay the show entry soon!

A special Thank You goes out to NJSE, he is a great member of ChargerForumZ and he has donated 2 custom paintings to be raffled off at the Midwest Meet car show on July 30, 2011. These will be paintings of the winners vehicle, if you win you will need to get a picture of your vehicle to him and he will send you the painting once he gets it painted. Tickets will be $1 each or $10 for a dozen. Tickets can be purchased by anyone even if they are not attending the meet, pm me for info.

We are pleased to announce that we are an Official Supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. I have been working on this for a few weeks and we have finally been approved. At the Midwest Meet Car Show we will place a donation bucket in front of each vehicle, the vehicle with the most donations at the end of the show will win the People's Choice Award. 100% of the procedes will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

It is with extreme pleasure that Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) announces its support for MOPAR-Nation Midwest Meet Car Show held at Riverwind Casino in Norman, OK on July 30, 2011 to benefit wounded service members through WWP.

Tens of thousands of troops have been wounded in recent conflicts, many of them suffering traumatic brain injuries, amputations, and severe burns. The mission of Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors. WWP provides unique and direct programs and services that ease the burdens of the wounded and their families, aid in the recovery process, and aid in the transition back to civilian life.

MOPAR-Nation is committed to Wounded Warrior Project and the young men and women who benefit from WWP’s programs and services. These service men and women give life and limb to protect our freedom, and MOPAR-Nation recognizes and appreciates their sacrifices.

Very cool, well worthy cause to support!

The great folks at Eibach have given us a certificate for a free set of Sportline or Pro-kit springs, that is a $349 value!!!!!! You must be in attendance to win. We will take the name of everyone who is attending the Meet N Greet and throw em in a hat and draw a winner at the banquet on Saturday night.

There are less than 2 months until the event. Rooms at the hotel are starting to fill up, so make sure to get your reservation made. There is another group also staying there that weekend.

We are also going to raffle off a set of Factory Reproductions Wheels valued at over $900, we will sell 100 tickets at $10 each.
