18th Annual Mopar Fest – The Event of the Year!

The 18th Annual Mopar Fest will be held on Saturday June 15th, 2013, at Haynes Park in Rio Rancho, NM. The Mopar Muscle Club of New Mexico in conjunction with the City of Rio Rancho is putting on the best summer show of the season. This is the largest all Mopar event in New Mexico and we plan to have the best show ever this year! Mark your calendars so you can show off your ride and give your family and friends a great day of beautiful cars, sun, food, music and fun. And what better way to celebrate Father's Day with your Dad than to bring him out to a day filled with cars and fun?

Don’t miss this great Mopar event:

· THE CARS: The biggest collection of Mopar Muscle in New Mexico. Twenty classes of classic and modern Mopar cars will be there to make you drool all day long. Cudas, Chargers, Darts, Challengers, Road Runners, Super Birds, AAR’s, Vipers, trucks, customs, race…you name it, they will be there! Show participants vote for class awards, and the Club will present specialty awards, sponsor awards and long-distance trophies.

· THE VENUE: We have a great venue at Haynes Park. All participant cars are parked on cool grass with scattered shade trees present. No blazing hot parking lot here! You can set up pop-up covers for shade to enjoy a beautiful day in the park. The covered Pavilion at Haynes Park acts as a great area for registration, announcements, music/PA, award presentations and a focal point for show activities. In addition, Haynes Park offers lots of other activities for the family and kids including adjacent public swimming pool, basketball, tennis, bocce courts, horseshoe pits and more.

· TRIBUTE GROUP: This year we will have a special tribute to Dodge Charger. The feature group of cars will be in a special display located front and center to highlight this iconic Mopar muscle. We will have one or more examples of every year from 1966-1974 including Hemi and R/T cars. Don’t miss this!

VENDORS: As usual we will have a variety of vendors to provide great food, drink, snacks, auto-related item and services to keep you energized and entertained.

TRAILER RAFFLE: Once again we will announce the winner of the raffle for an 18’ PJ dovetail car trailer. This beautiful, brand new, $2600 trailer is a car-persons dream. You can buy $5 tickets right up to the drawing at the end of the show.

· MORE THAN CARS: There will also be a Model car & die cast show for young and old alike, charitable organizations you can support, chair massages, door prizes throughout the day, and a huge jumper for the kids.

We’ve done everything to make this the best Mopar show in the state, but it can’t happen without YOUR PARTICIPATION. Don’t make excuses, we need all club members and Mopar enthusiasts in the region to mark June 15th on the calendar and attend this show. The more cars, the more people, the more fun and entertainment for all. Spread the word. See you there!
