This is something I want to get out now in case anyone is interested as it could turn out to be a cool deal and a few of us in AAM are going to try and make the trip down...
What Texas Tech Formula SAE Car Show and Dyno Pulls at TES
When: Saturday, March 31st, 2012 10 AM-2 PM
Where: Texas Tech Credit Union Parking Lot (adjacent to Law School and Covenant Hospital)
Cost: $10
I don't have the official flyer or info on classes etc, but the proceeds from this show will benefit the Texas Tech Formula SAE team...there will be food and drinks on hand and supposedly quite a few awards.
The thing that really sweets the pot is TES in Lubbock is sponsoring the team and show...and will be slashing prices on dyno pulls. They usually charge $85 for 3 pulls and a print out...speculation is it will be somewhere around $40-50 for 2 pulls...that is a great deal.
If you are interested, post up and we'll try to make it a Mopar invasion and domination!
