We are working hard to make this show even better than the last...Which had roughly 150 MOPARS from all eras...folks come up from all over Texas, out of Oklahoma, west from New Mexico, and down from Colorado and Kansas. From Vipers, to a dizzying array of late model Challengers all your Modern Mopar needs are met...and if vintage Mopars are what it takes to satisfy your niche we had a 69 Daytona, 70 Superbird, 70 AAR, and a 70 T/A just to name a few.
This is one of the best Mopar shows going and it is by far the most affordable and relaxed!
Chryslers in the Canyon IV will take place Saturday, October 13th, 2012. We will meet up at the West Texas A&M University Events Center (Corner of Russel Long Blvd. and 4th Avenue) and begin sending small waves of cars from there.
As you come into the canyon I will be positioned to shoot the downhill video.
Registration will consist of signing in with your name, contact info, and of course info on your Mopar. We will use this to add to the mailing list etc for future events.
Della will once again be on hand to take pictures of the entire event, the winners, and of course you and your Mopar if so desired. She has done a great job the past three years and we are lucky to have her come back for year four.
The Mack Dick building has a kitchen, so if you want to bring something that requires preparation, you should be able to make it. Otherwise, just bring some sandwiches, snacks, or whatever you might think you'd like.
After the show we can head off to any restaurant that folks might think sounds good (ie Big Texan, Jorge's/Rosa's, BBQ, etc).
Chryslers in the Canyon is keeping the focus on FUN. We are similarly keeping the show FREE.
If you want to pay $150 to be on a run down fair ground or hot parking lot, get stuck $10 for a 3rd world hot dog, and then go home without an award because you don't know the right people you can hit up another show.
If you want to have fun with your Mopar at an incredible location with great people and do it for FREE, then Chryslers in the Canyon is the show for you. CIC basically takes all the established principles of a car show, including entry fees and politics, and does donuts around them with uncorked headers.
If you are interested post up...we will do our best to help you out. We can usually land a nice hotel discount later on once we have an idea on the head count.
