What: Boston Accoustics Factory Six Speaker 6x9 Door Panel Speakers (Pair)
Price: $120 for the Set, $150 for the set and installation
These are brand-new, never used Boston Accoustics 6x9 Speakers that you will find on Challengers with the factory 6-Speaker System.
I had to purchase them to get the factory speaker pods I modified for my aftermarket speakers.
The Bostons are a BIG UPGRADE over the pathetic crap the factory put in with the 130-4 Speaker system. Ideally these would go to someone with a 130-4 Speaker system.
Factory Part Number for purists:
Factory Connection for a true plug-and-play install:
I would imagine these will fit most other late model Mopars using 6x9s, but I can't be certain.
I plugged one in to the passenger side door for a sound comparison and it was a marked difference over stock. You can find the speaker upgrade articles I did on Lone Star Mopars to get an idea of how these compare. You can amp these if you want to get the most out of them, but as stated, the factory deck put out enough juice to let me know this was not the same as the 4-speaker's performance.
I've got more in these, but will let the set go for $120. If you want them installed, I will sell the speakers and put them in for a grand total of $150 ($120 Speakers + $30 Install). If you need to check my work I will gladly turn up the M10s system for you. Having done the install, I know the ins-and-outs of speaker replacement very well and can be trusted to take care of your car...and if you want to see how it is done, you can hold the door panel and make it go even quicker.
The big perk here is that the Bostons are a true drop-in upgrade. You simply remove the factory speaker, and these cinch down in place with NO MODIFICATIONS needed (no cutting, no wiring, no extra harness...a true plug and play install) should you want to go at it yourself. My article and videos should walk you thru it if you go that route and I'll be glad to help if you have any issues come up.

http://www.lonestarmopars.com/news/inde ... h&Itemid=1Obviously if these ship, I can't really do the install...but if anyone wants them and wants the install I will gladly do so if you ever pass thru town. It is simple to do at home: remove the door panel, remove (4) T15 screws, unplug the factory speaker, and reverse for install. Again, the best home for these is someone with the 130-4 Speaker set up that wants better sound, but also wants a true plug-and-play speaker.
