Awesome, welcome aboard! What are your plans for the Charger? I've got a 69...if we keep picking up 68-70 Charger owners maybe we can re-establish the meet in Boerne, or locate it elsewhere Feel free to spread the good word and thanks for signing up! |

I heard talk of having a Charger meet up in Ennis, which be nice and have the room if done on the Speedway. In the MMCA so I have met 2 other 68 owners and 2 69 owners, which is pretty good, as I know about 3 others in Killeen area that are not in any of the Mopar clubs. Would be nice if we all share info and parts, that would cut down alot of cost on these restos. |

That's why I made this forum... Especially down state it seems like late model and 60s-70s owners just don't get along, or refuse to... I've heard a lot of the old clubs that charge dues are dying out and the "new charger" clubs don't often want to include a guy with a 440 Charger, or do so on unequal footing. Lone Star Mopars is FREE and people can use the boards for whatever they want...that's why I've got the "Clubhouse" set up as well. If 5-10 guys in an area get together and want to set up shows/gatherings they can tell me, I'll make them a subforum, and then they can use that to communicate. The late model forums are horrible imo. Several of the older forums have gotten too many trolls to even be enjoyable anymore. I've never had any trouble with DodgeCharger.com, but you will catch flack from time-to-time if you aren't going 100% resto, lol. |
