when comparing dyno #s ,note what kind of dyno,dyno jet reads about 10-15% higher than a real dyno,also look out for different correction factors,you can be fooled by bad #s from a dyno operator changing cf ie sae,std,stp,din,i like to get uncorrected # along with sae

There is a dyno at a local high school that I'm pretty sure would award my stock 01 Ram Off Roadster about 3-400 rwhp

As much as I'd like to have the inflated numbers, I actually prefer the real deal...gives you a baseline and something to shoot to improve etc. Plus I like to see the correlation betwixt dyno and track...let's you know how well the chasis is set up!

Nope, it sure doesn't. I'm hoping to get early season runs in at the track and then hit the dyno in Lubbock...I want to have stock baselines on the M10 and go from there.

It would be nice if there were more shops up here that have massive dyno days like down state...I always hear people in San Antonio/Austin talking about a long string of cars that get dnyo'd every few weeks for a killer price. The shops up here seem to want $100+ minimum and don't really seem to care to do group pulls etc. That's why so many head to the high school dyno day, but like I said, despite being "happy" I would like the real deal, lol.

what brand is the dyno at school

if you can get some good mph runs & note the baro for that day,& then get a dyno run with as close conditions ,UNCORRECTED #S,use the schools dyno,& then we can figure the amount to correct the schools dyno

I am not sure...it is 30 miles southwest of here. I've never been, but I know it is super happy.
