Has anyone built, seen, or contemplated this? Nothing is on the market so it'll have to be all from scratch. I've got great ideas, just have to get them translated from mental images to physical assets. The few threads I see people decided to make one, started, and never finished. On that note, is anyone running a "standard" replacement console...ie a deep box with cupholders that fits the trans tunnel? I know a few have mentioned this, but I've never seen it in person. I don't know if I'll really have time to tackle this until after Chryslers in the Canyon, but it has been on my mind for a few years. Post up what you've seen, or better yet what you have done! |

Still looking for custom center consoles! I'm starting to think that outside of the high-end shops where a gm/ford person just throws money away there really aren't any from the grass-roots, hands-on folks. I have my design and as of today I got green lighted on the audio side (was concerned about interference), so as time allows I will begin trying to make what is in my head translate to the real world... In the meantime, I am going on a crusade to actually try and find custom center consoles from the Mopar faithful...If you know of any, post them up! |

I've contacted two sources and am investigating their options. Still hoping to find a solution for a quality, aftermarket option for those of us so inclined to update/customize our Mopars! If you've made a custom center console, want a custom center console, or have a few exampled in your photo albums, please post them up! |
