Haha, yeah if the magazine figures were true my 2001 Ram would be pushing 400 HP. I think you can see the gains they report, but it has to be in controlled circumstances and maybe even with corrected figures. It is rare to get a street scenario where you have a 70 degree ambient air temperature and 5000 cfm of refrigerated air pumping thru your grill with your hood up.

I think the CAI and Tuner will make a pretty noticeable difference on your SRT though!

Well they shoulb be here this afternoon Alan's gonna put em' on tomorrow. Also getting classic badges. All that's left is the cragar wheels and some sticky tires and the exteriors done for a while. Then I'll move into engine dress up and performance. Got a few interior mods im debating on. After tomorrow and the exhaust that's probably gonna be it for a while. Thinking about a career change

Also 0-60 is still 3 tenths of second slower than what motortrend got. I'm not launching right. It slowly crawls to about 30mph and then just hauls ass. Idk I'll figure it out though. Or I'll just add more hp

The tuner does change the sound of your car. I run it at 91 tune also. We have no 93 up here. the tuner will wake your car up alright. See you in OKC this weekend.

Yea when I get off work tonight I'm gonna put the 91 back on. Tomorrow I'm getting the classic style badges on and clean it all up nice and shiny

Did you adjust your fan temps in the predator after you installed it? I didn;t when I first put it on and the car was still running 200+, adjust the fans to 180-190 and they will kick in earlier and keep the car a lot cooler

Yeah, a lot of it is just launching right...the SRT8 and the 6-speeds tend to just spin, lol. We have a guy in AAM that runs the Lakewood drag shocks and said they did much more than the hop-not kit.
