Since I couldn't find anything conclusive on the web last night, I figured I'd do everyone a favor...

The fuse for the Challenger's trunk light is #38 a red 10 AMP Fuse found in the rear distribution block right by the battery.

The other unbelievable revelation was that this same fuse also controls your power door and trunk release from the fob! I have no clue why a trunk light would be on the same circuit, but it now makes sense as to why the trunk always stays lit and doesn't go out like your other interior lights.

Replacing the fuse got the trunk light back AND the functions of the key fob.

The good news is if this happens to you..you can use the key to get in, the push button trunk release still works (unless you have a faulty switch), and then you simply replace the fuse. Again, mind blowing that the trunk light isn't timed or on a separate circuit than the fob's power door and trunk releases.

So if this happens to you, or the trunk light just needs to be diagnosed remember it is in the rear distribution, fuse #38, and should be a 10 Amp mini-fuse...
