You will LOVE da Hurst but.... there is a "mod" of the shifter made by a brother at Ctalk that replaces the rod and o-rings that WILL wear out in the Hurst, bout $110 more U install or $150 U send shifter installed. Modded mine before I installed it and NOW it's as precise as clicking a ratchet, click! But even if U wait to mod, you'll love da shorter thro, AND the ableity to use stock or any Hurst handle, including the 70s pistol grip ones, tho they have broken the Hursts rod at the o-ring groove, the EXACT reason that 70 starting making the mod.
