I am getting a 75 Charger in trade for my Chevy Van. I have been thinking about doing a R/T style car. The car has a 360 with Auto Trans but don't know which trans it is. I have lined up a 383 for it so far and want to change it to A 833 4 speed.
I am open to ideas and suggestions. I don't know if Charger seat covers from a 71-74 will work on my seats. I either plan on keeping the blue, but I'm not sure of the shade. Here are all the pictures I have for now. Keep in mind I won't start on it until I move to Tulsa.

I don't know if much more than drive train will swap over from 3rd gens to the 75. I imagine the mounts are different as well, might have better luck sourcing stuff from F-body cars in all honesty.
I think the 383 would be right at home and shouldn't be a major headache...not sure how much modding will be required for the 4-speed...if it is a pain you can find a good b/RB 727 and build it up, or source a late model OD tranny.

I know pedals and a 4 speed hump from a 74 Charger will work. I am not sure about shifters yet.

Haha, well maybe you'll still be able to land the 75, just at a later point in time.
