Lone Star Mopars

Sorry I haven't been here much. We finally made it to Tulsa. Then my health hit and have been going to a lot of Doctors. I made the mistake of trading my Cordoba for a 64 Plymouth Valiant (big mistake) so I have that car to my youngest son and he traded for a 94 Dakota which he is working on while driving it. I am in the process of getting a 74 Dodge Charger. I am also trying to talk my wife into a new Charger with the V6 to drive to work.

Wondered where you were...sorry to hear about the health issues...

For what it is worth, it is probably pretty hard to come from the moisture rich NC area to dry and dusty plains, lol.

The bright side is the 74 Charger would be awesome and easier to work on...The late model for the wife would give ya'll something new as well. Hopefully your son has fun with the Dakota.

Well we are in Stillwater now. The old Dakota died on my son, The new Charger never happened and the 74 Charger was too far gone to repair. It was rust free because all the rust fell put of it. I still have my Cordoba which is going to be my project. Wow I am surprised there hasn't been more posts in this forum.

Maybe y'all can find a good one in a yard...so many times with trucks they get sent away with a front hit, or rear hit...Very easy and efficient to find once of each and combine the parts.

Yeah, a 5.7 Dakota would be pretty cool! Sucks the yards won't sell whole vehicles...what is the point when they'll sell all the parts, but not the complete set up? I'd much rather harvest parts on my own, as I need them, then have to drive to a yard every time.

There are a lot of Mopar guys up in Kansas...I know a few have yards, might be worth checking. I believe most are on the east side of the state.
